What an Easter..

So I'm posting this a week after it actually happened. We're over it, and things are fine, but it was quite an Easter.

I don't want to hype it up too much, because truthfully it wasn't THAT big of a deal, but enough of it...here is what happened.

It all started the Wednesday before Easter when Matteo went in for his 9 month well visit. He was great and only got one shot, his hep B. Well, I'm not sure it that caused it, or what, but the next morning he woke up and had then sniffles. No biggie, we've been dealing with that for months!

Fast forward to Saturday night. Matteo was kind of wheezing. Not a good thing with you're a baby. Sean and I talked about it, and after about 20 minutes in the bathroom with the shower running, we decided to see how he was doing in the morning.

Sean got him up the next morning, Easter morning, and he was worse. You could actually hear his entire breath. So, after a quick visit from Paramedic Grandpa, we pack up our baby and took him to the ER. He was great the entire visit, charming the nurses and sucking down his breathing treatments like a pro!

After 2 breathing treatments and a hilarious chest X-ray (you should have seen how they positioned him...too cute and no tears!) they diagnosed hime with Bronchitis. Poor babe!!

He's doing much better now, no wheezing, and coughing all that stuff up...but....What an Easter!
